StackTown Audio Production Training Program

The StackTown Audio Production Training Program is a hands-on music and audio engineering experience created to help the next generation of creators learn the real skills used inside professional recording studios. Hosted at StackTown Studio, this program gives students the opportunity to step into a real NYC studio environment and learn everything from recording and mixing to mastering and music production.

Students will work directly inside the studio while learning how to operate recording equipment, use industry-standard software, record vocals, create beats, mix tracks, and understand the full creative process behind professional music production. This is more than just classroom learning — it’s real studio training built to prepare students for careers in music, audio engineering, content creation, and entertainment.

The program is designed to build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and technical skills while giving young artists and creators a safe space to express themselves through music. Whether students are beginners or already passionate about music, the training is structured to help each participant grow at their own pace while gaining real experience inside a professional studio setting.

Lead Instructor

The program is led by Michael Richardson, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Music Production at The Power Station in Manhattan. His experience, industry knowledge, and passion for mentoring young creators help provide students with both professional guidance and real-world studio insight.
